A story with deep roots
Travaini Carpenterie was established in 1969 in Borgomanero, when its founder Mario Travaini opened his first business.
Initially a small artisan company, the business grew rapidly and soon expanded to Fontaneto d’Agogna in a new and more spacious facility.
It was 1980 when the company officially became Travaini Carpenterie S.p.A. and began to make a name for itself on the international metal carpentry market.
It is thanks to this change of scenery that the need to be competitive in the ever-expanding metalworking sector was born.
The ability to go further
Through investments in facilities, technological machinery and highly specialised personnel, the company has continued to expand, first in 2000 with a new 3600 square metre factory and then in 2016 when the construction of a new production building was completed, equipped with a heat treatment oven and sandblasting and painting department.
Today Travaini Carpenterie S.p.A. has at its disposal a total area of 70000 square metres, 19000 square metres of which are built over, and is equipped to process and handle large pieces up to 150 tonnes.
The company deals with metal construction and machining of components mainly for the mining and cement industry, but also extends into other sectors, from the energy and environmental sectors to the asphalt and ceramics industries, making its references increasingly broader over the years, adapting to new market demands.
Travaini Carpenterie S.p.A. is dedicated to all stages of production, from material procurement to the final finish, and has an extensive machinery arsenal that includes machining tools, calenders, welding equipment, sandblasting and painting booths, oxygen and plasma cutters and a heat treatment oven.
The company is able to manufacture complete machines from drawings, but also makes its technical department available to study the most suitable solution for the specific requirements of the customer.
